Coming Up Dana Marie

Dana MarieCanadian gospel singer, songwriter and recording artist Dana Marie has a unique heart to change the world, one beloved soul a time! In December 2010, with these values in mind, she released her self-titled debut album that includes three instrumental pieces, two restructured versions of classic well known hymns, as well as eight original songs that depict her love for God and her intense desire to share that through worship. This new project for Dana Marie comes on the heals of her winning the “Faith FM 94.3 Shining Star Competition” that was judged this season in part by the very well known Jaci Velasquez. Prior to completing this new record, Dana had received her Diploma of Ministry across the world in Sydney, Australia where she learned about worship, and to love worship, as she attended the place that leads the world in worship music today, Hillsong Church and Hillsong International Leadership College.Dana has a love for God, a heart for people and an aching in her soul for writing and singing music. These songs on her debut album depict that better than her words ever could.

Kidz MinistryEach Sunday there is a special time in the service where the kids come up to the front to have a story time. This involves some sort of Bible story and a song that goes with it too!!After this is over, they head to the back where they are able to do crafts / games during the sermon time.

Giving Philosophy:When you visit Bluewater Christian Fellowship, one thing that you might find different is that we do not usually take up an offering for our operational needs. We believe that giving needs to be Holy Spirit led, with an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. Members of the family and visitors may contribute by placing donations in the donation box located at the entrance to the meeting room.“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” - 2 Corinthians 9:7If you are a guest with us, please feel NO obligation to contribute.Other Ways to Give:Bluewater Christian Fellowship is setup to accept pre-authorized automatic bank transfers which is a great way to make sure God is getting the first fruits, and not just the mushy bananas leftover. Contact us if you would like to have this setup for you.Donations via the website is also another safe and convenient way to contribute to the ministry. Visit the Online Giving section of our site to find out how you can contribute, and some of the different ministries you can contribute to.Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." - Malachi 3:10

Ken began working with Sauble Christian Fellowship in the spring of 2007 on a volunteer basis. In September he officially assumed the role as Youth Director on a part-time basis and as of July 2008 joined our team full-time. Having grown up in the area, he is well acquainted with the needs and challenges facing today’s youth. Ken & Jenna were married in April of 2009 and serve together now. After completing some schooling in August 2010, Ken is now a licenced minister with the Brethren in Christ Church. With a strong desire to see youth grow in their walk with God and live biblically based lives, they devote themselves to the youth ministry of Sauble and the surrounding area. When Bluewater Christian Fellowship was coming about, Ken & Jenna committed to being a part of the ministry there as well and perform various roles from Sunday to Sunday. Sometimes you will find them at the back, looking after the technical needs, sometimes Jenna is helping to lead worship with the praise team, and sometimes Ken will share the word. They love to worship with the people of Kincardine and consider it a blessing to be involved.

David & Connie Oppertshauser first began attending Sauble Christian Fellowship several years ago when vacationing at their cottage. When they returned from working abroad in 2001 they decided to live at their cottage and began attending on a regular basis. In August of 2002 they assumed responsibility for the children’s and youth ministries. David assumed the Senior Pastor role in late 2006 coincident with the transfer of Tim Harden to Rosebank Brethren In Christ. He has served as Senior Pastor now for 4 years and continues to teach and minister to the congregation at Sauble Christian Fellowship.Feeling a strong calling to the community of Kincardine, Pastor Dave began to work with some of the families that now make up Bluewater Christian Fellowship to bring it to be. He continues to be the Lead Pastor here and enjoys fellowship with the people of Kincardine!

Our MissionBluewater Christian Fellowship exists to glorify God through worship, evangelism, discipleship, careand nurture of the whole person. Our Goal:Bluewater Christian Fellowship’s goal is to be a community minded church, ministering to the spiritual needs of people of all ages. Here are some of the ways we try to meet this goal:Each Sunday we hold an afternoon service that starts at 3pm. This service features a mix of contemporary music as well as traditional hymns and choruses. The message from the word is presented in a modern and relevant way that is challenging to all ages and walks of life.Part way through the service the children are presented with a short message and song and are then dismissed to the back of the room to participate in a craft to give the adults a break to enjoy the message.Community Outreach programs occur at different times throughout the year. These are used to proclaim our message of hope and bless our community in practical ways. Stay tuned to the web site, or call the office for dates and related specifics. We believe in doing life together. We meet at 11am on Sunday mornings to pray with one another and join in discussion. We offer counselling and support for those going through difficult timesWe also believe in obeying our Lord’s great commission to take the message of hope to the world community. We support missionaries in foreign countries and encourage our people to be involved in missions projects at home and abroad. Our People Philosophy:It is obvious that the Lord has chosen to work through people throughout history. Our role is to organize, train, equip and mobilize the human resources God has given to execute our mission and extend His Kingdom. There is much to be done. As each person, whether member or supporter, accepts the challenge of leading or serving, they should constantly remind themselves that they are an integral part of our mission, and a servant of the King.

Mid October 2010, a group of believers from Kincardine area along with a sponsor group from Sauble Christian Fellowship began meeting Sunday afternoons for a time of worship in Kincardine. Starting out as an 8 week trial to test the waters of Kincardine and see if there is a need for an evangelical presence there, it has become evident that the need is great! In 2011, times of worship continue, believing that God is going to continue to grow this new congregation of believers and continue to bless it as we have already seen him do. Throughout the summer of 2011 we held 10 weeks of worship in the park outdoors with various worship leaders, testimony givers, and speakers. These nights were alot of fun and well attended.During Thanksgiving, Bluewater Christian Fellowship was able to meet needs in a very practicle way by distributing some Turkey Dinners to those who needed them. We are excited about what 2012 has in store. Lots of different plans and ideas are being talked about, and as the leadership team seeks God's will in each aspect of the ministry, we continue to meet weekly believing that God has a plan and purpose for this ministry in Kincardine and the surrounding areas. If you are looking for a church to fellowship with, we hope that you will join us as we continue to meet and worship. Our prayer is that you will sense our heart for the community, and experience God"s love and presence in our meetings.
